Commercial EV charger grants close 31st March 2026 – apply now.

Commercial landlords can still access £350 per socket – but the grant closes on 31st March 2026.
The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) has announced changes to EV charge point grants for commercial landlords, which will come into effect from 1st April 2026.
What EV charging grants are currently available for commercial landlords?
If you’re a commercial landlord, you can benefit from the Commercial Landlord Charge Point Grant. It’s designed for landlords who want to install EV charge points at commercial properties they rent out, and provides you with £350 per socket or 75% off the cost to buy and install a socket, whichever amount is lower.
How many charge points can I get a grant for?
Each financial year, you can get up to 100 grants for commercial properties.
This can be across several properties and installations or for one property.
How do I apply for a Commercial Landlord Charge Point Grant?
You have until 11:59 on 31st March 2026 to apply for a grant and you can do this by going to the government’s page here to start your application.
The last date for installers to claim a grant is 26th May 2026.
What happens if I don’t apply before 31st March 2026?
Then you will no longer be able to apply or qualify for the grant.
